weight is little higher on side, but isnt much unusual in formula fed babies, but that predisposes to constipation too. if also, delayed milestones are noted.. its important to rule out soem treatable causes like say hypothyroidism. if all else is normal, i will suggest to start complementary feeding in pureed form. read details at

Nice supresses the main cause of the fever??????????? RE: Feedback via the Ask Health Query to Dr SK. Get answered for free.
My son is suffering with high fever since last 5 days. His blood n urine were checked and the WBC count was 25000.Urine was normal. He has fever to the range of 103-104F with head-ache. Dr had prescribed Suprax-200- antibiotic with Septiline and Calpol.
>
> Now after the treatment since last two days his fever is controlled to the range of 101F.But we could control the fever after we gave Nice-Nimsulide.Now it is coming twice a day.But earlier to this the temp was repeating every 3 hrly and 103-104F.Now it is the fifth day to complete the anti-biotics course.

Nice doesnt suppress the main cause of fever, its mainly for temporary control so theer are no side effects or damage due to high fever. currently many doctors dont use nimesulide. read here Why is Nimesulide banned in many countries? www.doctorndtv.com/faq/detailfaq.asp?id=1973
when a infection tapers.. fever initially if it were continuous.. may become intermittent.. and then disappear in another 2 days.
read how to treat fever in children at http://drpeds.blogspot.com
I advice you to get him evaluated for say blood test or X ray if if fever recurrs.

what your kid appears to suffer from, is a nose block due to adenoiditis.. more likely. he may need antibiotics but once in a time a complete 10 day course may eb needed. you may give all antibiotics but not all at a time, its alwasy preferable to have at least 30 min gap between two meds.

FW: Delivery Status Notification (Failure)
my child has just crossed 2 years in jan. he was quite fat till 10 months but he was suddenly admitted to hospital due to dehydration. after that he is not able to pick up his health again and is quite thin by his age. he eats a hardly 2 chapatis and drink two milk bottels in a day. plz can u suggest me some syrup or jut mial me what he should he must be given for his daily diet so he again recover his health. thank you
hi
i think the main problem in this case is prolonged heavy milk intake. milk if significant part of diet after 1 year age, surely affects feeding and appetite and can cause malnutrition, rickets and iron deificiency.
