: the reasons will be ! intermittent top feeding!,( cow milk / top milk contains high phosphates that cause constipation. )
]not being on any calcium supplement,
and while on top feeds if intermittent water sips are not given! this problem is not seen with exclusively breats fed children, sometimes there can be really serious causes, you write me back if these measures dont help in 3 weeks.

2.She has a exterme gastric problem, she is given medicine for colic pain once/twice daily
colic pain medicines also cause constipation! extreme gastric problem is your perception, Almost all newborns get severe colics, giving medicines will worsen constipation. try stopping the colic medicines and may improve. she will not require that medicine that often this age.

Her sleep is very less in comparision to other children.
again this is related to constipation.

    what we should do-
empty her colon by giving some pediatric dose laxative under medical supervision. in this case you may need to do this thrice a week for at leats 2 weeks, all administered by a specialist, usually they use pediatric dulcolax suppostiries in small doses or glycerine suppositiries.

    add calcium supplementation.

give intermittent water sips between top feeds,
keep child on shoulders/arm rather than on bed most of the time.
    stop colic meds.

keep me posted at this site.
